Moody Gardens/Galveston equals Awesome

Moody Gardens is the place to be if your in the south Texas area. I love this mug because of the style, it can actually hold a good amount of coffee in it. The regular size coffee cups don't seem to be big enough any more, I guess I've out grown them, lol. Anyway Moody Gardens Galveston Island is a great place to take the family. There's the Rainforest, The Aquarium  Pyramid, 3 D Theater, Ridefilm and so much more. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

In the same area you will find The Strand Historic District in Galveston. The coolest place ever to shop, dine and even take a horse and carriage ride too. We had so much fun there.

While there we also took a ride on the Ferry which was so much fun too. Its a short ride to Port Bolivar and during the ride there's usually dolphins jumping around the water and Seagulls flying around. While your vehicle is parked on the ferry you can get out and look around and feed the seagulls if you want.

  1. My kids had a great time here. There's so much to do between the Aquarium, the Rainforest, Discovery Pyramid, and the 3D and 4D movies. We bought a family pass so we can go many more times this summer. It will be especially nice once the beach is open there.

  3. This looks like it is a lot of fun! I like all of the different mugs that you've been able to get when you're on your travels. If you're in to collecting, you should take a look at bubba mugs; they are great, and as you say the hold more coffee than the average mug these days.

  4. Thanks for the post, and yes I love collecting mugs. Traveling to see new things, the best thing for me to buy is a mug...love drinking coffee from them as it reminds me of the good times. I will check out your site too. Thanks for stopping by
